- For power limiting on inverters, a DRMS contact is available where pins must be connected to limit power:
1 a 5 – the inverter is not generating power.
2 a 5 – the inverter does not produce more than 50% of its rated power.
3 a 5 – the inverter does not produce more than 75% of its rated power.
In case of a bad connection, when the contacts are permanently closed, the inverter will not supply power to the grid. The behavior of the inverter when the DRMS contact is closed varies depending on the firmware version. For example, with firmware 030308, the inverter is permanently at 0% Active Power. With firmware 040409, the inverter is still in phase with all phase voltages in Off-Grid.
